QB states it wants golf course as-is

The Town of Qualicum Beach is not being obstructionist against the owner of the Eaglecrest Golf Course, says chief administrative officer Mark Brown.
Rather, he said, the municipality is showing due diligence.
"The town is making a significant concession by amending the official community plan to financially assist a private business,"Brown said in a prepared statement.
