Cops scour QB for suspect
July 4th, 2008
A dog unit from Nanaimo was brought in to track a suspect in an alleged Qualicum Beach break and enter on Friday. Oceanside RCMP patrolled an area around Arbutus Street and Harlech Road during the early afternoon search that began around 12:45 p.m. A canine unit walked along the town's railway track and adjacent trails and police cruisers were stationed near the Qualicum Beach Museum and other points.
